It's up to Taft to say what he'll
do with the Roosevelt men on the
Republican national committee.
Saturday the convention passed
a resolution which would allow
the majority of the national com
mittee to kick the Roosevelt men
out in the cold.
Today, the committee held a
short session, and decided to go
to Washington and put the whole
business up to Taft.
It's believed- that Charles D.
Hilles, the president's secretary,
put the committee up to this.
If that's right, William How
ard Taft is going to take charge
of his own campaign.

Roosevelt national organization
