The police still are raising
many excuses to drag the Lind

Nice weather yesterday, was it
not. Especially around 4 o'clock
in the afternoon.
Capt. G. C. Steinman, skipper
of a couple of fishing scows, took
vacation yesterday. Took it in
taxicab. Went to sleep. Wouldn't
pay bill. S. Clark st. police sta
tion. Mrs. Rene B. Morrow's trial
for the murder of her husband,
Charles B. Morrow, began today
before Judge Kersten.
Morrow was found dead from
a bullet wound on the rear porch
q his home, 4545 S. Michigan
ave., Dec. 28 last.
Health Commissioner Young
told the congregation of the Hyde
Park Congregational church
what was the matter with the city
administration last night.
It took Commissioner Young
quite a long time. If it were
thought that you yourself did not
know what was the matter with
the city administration, it might
possibly be worth while to repeat
what Dr. Young said.
But pshaw! You live in Chi
