O'Sullivan, of Lawrence, took the
stand before the grand jury.
"I was chief of police when the
strike broke out," said O'Sullivan.
"There was no trouble. There
was no indication of trouble.
"Then first one and then an
other of .the city officials and the
mill owners came to; me and told."
