--The remains of any kind of
cold fish may be used for this
salad. Remove all the bones and
flake up the fish. Wash and chop
finely a lettuce and a small bunch
pf watercress. Mix in a basin with
the fish, season with pepper and,,
salt, and pour a'little salad dress
ing over the mixture. Place in a
salad dish and garnish with a
hard-boiled egg cut in slices and
a few slices of tomato. This
makes a cheap anditasty supper
or luncheon dish.
For Tan Shoes
A few drops,of turpentine, on a
woolen cloth will clean tan shoes
very .well. A drvop or two of
brilliant polish toany, leather.
