about the South Side this after
Last night a meeting of 90
white neighbors of Johnson was
held in a private house. ,
At that meeting it is said that
the whites pledged themselves to
find some means of getting John
Son out of Chicago forever.
jonnson was arrested on a
charge ,of abduction late this
afternoon. He was released al
most immediately on $800 bail.
The abduction charge is in con
nection with Lucille Cameron, 19
years old, a white girl.
The girl is the daughter ftf Mrs.
Cameron-Falconet, of Minneatpo
Ks. Mrs. Falconet is divorced
from heir husband.
