Jack Johnson ever wins clear of
the legal entanglements wfiich at

Johan Johnson.

wreck now," came wailingly over
the; wire.
"Men, I vjant volunteers sin
gle men," spoke the stern-faced
captain in a grin! voice. "The
enemy I recognize as bUr friend
Johan."
Forth stepped an even half"
dozen men, their step unfalter
ing and the light of battle in their
eyes. Each and fevery one had
heard the dread name of Johan,
but they were a game bunch of
cops.
