" K,
DISCOVERED!
A merry company were assem
bled at Smith's dinner table. All
were enjoying the, feast of good
things provided by the genial
hostess, and One of the guests, in
a jocular? manner, asked little
Willie where turkeys came from
"Dunno," he answered, "but I
can tell you where this one came
from. Ma got it from a tramp for
a dollar, 'cause the man said he
stole it. Didn't he, ma?"
ROUGH ON MAUD
Bobby (at the breakfast table)
Maud, did Mr. Jones take any
umbrellas or hats from the hall
last night?
Maud Why, of course not!
Why should he?
Bobby That's just what I'd
like to know. I thought he did,
because I heard him say when be
was going out, 'I'm gofng to steal
just one,' and Why, what's
the matter, Maud?
