Walnut Cream Candy.
The ingredients are two cups
of sugart one-half cup of water, a
pinch of cream tartar, one cup of
chopped black walnut meats and
one teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Without stirring the mixture boil
the sugar, water and cream of
tartar together until it forms a
soft ball when tried in cold water.
Take from the stove and set in a
basin of cold water for three min
