Charged with being a leading
"firebug," A. B. Frankel, fire in
surance adjuster of the firm of A.
B. Frankel & Co., was arrested
today on a. warrant specifying
fraud and extortion. Besides the
five men under indictment charg
ed with arson, it is said the grand
jury has evidence against other
"touch-off" experts. Fire Mar
shal Bach says that ten per cent
of the fires in Chicago are "touch-offs."
RIOT ONE STABBED
Pittsburgh, Pa., Jan. 27. In a

company. He may die. Davis"
Rankin saloons have been op
dered closed. Sale of firearms is
forbidden. Deputy sheriffs have
searched houses of 2,500 strikers
and all guns and knives in sight
have been confiscated.
