It is entitled "The Office Seek

The author is Wilbur G. Miller,

paper at Perth Amboy, N. J. 'He
does not guarantee that anyone
following his instructions will be
sure to land a job, but he says
that anyone who doesn't certain

The book, tells in detail just
who must be buttonholed about
each federal job. It classifies
patronage and civil service jobs
(salaries carefully named) and
purports to show how senators,
representatives and the president
are able to get round the civil
service law when they want to
land a favored applicant in a soft
place.
