two Chicago lightweights, will fur

will be, a good test of White's real
ability, as Britton is one of the best
trial horses in the lightweight di
vision. Jack has only suffered one
reverse in two years, and that was at
the hands of Packey McParland.
White is a great favorite with the
Lou Richie and Harry Covaleskie. These two pitchers were formerly
known as Giant killers, because of their ability to beat the New York Na
tionals. Covaleskie went back, "Richie is fast jjoing back, and now
Covaleskie has a chance to come back, via the Detroit Tigers.
