Prospects for taking the fourtbi game from the Giants this afternoons are not bright on the West Side Either Overall or Pierce will be sent to the mound by Manager Evers, and Demaree, a native Chicagoan, will work for the Giants, the cussed traitor. In addition to being a traitor, Dem- aree is somewhat of a pitcher, and. has shown a better brand of goods this season than either of the men nominated by the local impressario.
