Cut large, firm tomatoes into thick
slices. Do,not peel. Rub broiler with
butter and lay on slice ot "tomato
and broil on each side. Work togeth
er two tablespoons of butter, one of
minced parsley and one of lemon,
juice. Salt and' pepper broiled toma
toes on each slice. Allow to stand
in hot oven until butter is melted-and
erve at once. j
' Broiled Tomatoes with Cheese.
Cut tomatoes into slices one-third
inch in thickness. Salt and dash of
paprika and arrange on broiler.
Sprinkle each slice with grated cream
or pannesan cheese. Broil six min
utes or until the cheese Is melted.
Serve as a garnish with lamb chops.
