of His Home State to Come to His Aid.
Sherbrooke, Que.r Aug. 21. A" sup
"piementary warrant was issued to
day for the arrest of Harry K. Thaw,
slayer of Stanford White, under the
immigration law of Canada..
The warrant charges that Thaw
entered Canada-at a point not a reg
ular point of entry. The "warrant is
in the hands of High Constable Moe;
If Thaw be released through the
habeas corpus action, as is expected,
he will be re-arrested immediately
on this new warrant.
The attempt will then be made to
deport Thaw to Vermont. It has
been discovered that Thaw did not
enter Canada through New Hamp
shire as at first supposed, but
through the village of Beecher Falls,
Vermont. .
Attorney General Rufus E. Brown
of Vermont today advised Governor
Allen M. Fletcher to return Thaw to
the New York authorities if he should
be sent to Vermont by the Canadian
authorities. -
Thaw, today sent telegrams to
Former Governor Stone of Pennsyl
vania, D. T. Watson and Former Dis
trict Attorney. Blakeslee of Pitts
burgh, -and to the attorneysfor-the
Thaws, asking them to request Gov
ernor Tener of Pennsylvania to lend
his aid . to prevent Thaw's-return to
New York.
In his telegrams Thaw charged
that he is the victim of a conspiracy
of officials in states on the Canadian
border seeking-to force his return to
Matteawan, and asks his native state
to come to his aid.

zen," - said Thaw today. "That is
