Mrs. Mary Copley Thaw, the loyal mother -who, through "thick and
thin," has stood, by her "son in every phaseof.the world-famous case in
which her son' Harry has. played and is playing the leading role. The photo-
graph shows Mrs; Thaw and Harry leaving the-State Senate Chambers at
Concord, N. H., where Gov. Felker of New Hampshire is listening to the;
pleas of William Travers Jerome to return Thaw to Matteawan, from which
he escaped, and 'the pleas of the lawyers arrayed in behalf of Thaw.
