With these lines as a text, Anne
Crawford Flexner, who admits that
6he has played to win she is hap
pily married and the mother of two
children has sprung into, sudden
fame as the author of "The Marriage
Game," a sprightly comedy of mod
ern marriage which -has scored the
greatest dramatic success of the
week in New York.
This play presents the novel situa
tion of-a siren, who, after winning the
attention of a group of semi-detajched
husbands, h6lde the mirror up to their
Vives that the astonished ladles may
perceive that aTvife's Worst enemy is

purely and simplyherself.
