ZELIE EMERSON DYING
London, Nov. 11. Miss Zelie
Emerson, the American militant suf
fraget, is dying from concussion of
the brain, the result of injuries re
ceived "during a riot on November 5.
Miss Emerson was knocked down and
struck on the head while defending
Miss Sylvia Pankhurst when the po
lice attempted to arrest her.
