Nothing could be plainer than .that the people of
Chicago who are interested in the public schools want
Ella Flagg Young continued as superintendent.
It is just as plain that they do not, want the public
schools dragged into rotten, machine politics.
f And it follows that if they want Mrs. Young in, they
want the political gangsters who drove her out, to GET
OUT OF THE SCHOOL BOARD themselves and stay
From all over Chicago, from all classes of people,
without regard to creed, politics or any other class inter
est, the demand is almost unanimous that Mrs. Young be
kept at the head of the school system.
