Little Valley, N. Y., Dec. 12. Mrs.
Cynthia Buffum and her alleged

county Jail charged with causing
death of woman's husband by poison.
According to Dist. Atty. Cole, Mrs.
Buffum made a statement declaring
that Frahm urged her to do away
with her husband and children, and
promised to take her away when they
were dead. She is said to have con-
f f essed she mixed a certain horse lini
ment, which contained a large
amount of arsenic, with the food she
gave her husband and children for
about four weeks. Then her hus-
band died. The little girl Laura was
very ill and the other children in a
serious condition. She is said to have
told the district attorney that even
then Frahm kept urging her to give
