If I cannot win yott; no other woman

She sprang back into her skiff with
the warning. With fierce revengeful

FRILLY FROCKS ARE BEST FOR
LOVE SCENES
Hazel Chene thinks a girl never
looks more bewitching and more like
a lover's dream than when she ap
pears in the dainty frills, the old-fashion-figured
materials, and the
low slippers that her grandmother
used to wear.
"There is something about the old
time dress which seems to give a
woman the gentle appearance and
the modest manner of most men's
ideal.
"For my own pleasure and con
venience I much prefer the natty gar
ments of the every-day modern wo
man. But honestly and truly, I do
believe it is easier to win love and
admiration and protection of the oth
er sex if one wears the clothes of
our grandmother's days.
"Anyway, I can enter into ihe spirit.
a love .scene wjth.a -whole lot of
alism, seems torne,..when I am
of
realism-
dressed in an old-fashioned eown of
figured: material, frilled -from waist
to hem; my hair hanging' in curls;
white stockings and black slippers
on my feet."
And tljat is the notion of Helen
Chene, who recently, wore this type
