HANS SCHMIDT FOUND GUILTY
New York, Jan. 6. Hans Schmidt,
priest-slayer of Anna Auniueller, was
found- guilty of murder in the first
degree by a jury after deliberating
for more than three hours.
Hans Schmidt confessed, killing
Anna Aumueller, a servant girl he
had married, performing the cere
mony himself. Her torso was found
floating in the East river. It is claimed
that he had cut the throat' of the girl
and then dismembered' her while she
was still alive.
