the great' outdoors of Arizona.
The hotel scene was more western
than anything I can remember "out
west" on the Pacific coast. Three
people stood at the hotel cigar stand,
shaking dice with- the man behind
the showcase. Two of them were
girls; one a brunette dressed in Mex
ican colors; the other a brown-haired
girl wearing a short, divided curduroy
riding skirt and a flannel shirtwaist.
The third was a rather small man
whose face was buried somewhere
between a huge sombrero and a red
bandanna.
