"WATCH US'" SAYS EUGENIC COUPLE WHO
MARRIED TO LEAD PERFECT LIFE
Mr. and Mrs. Leo. De Lano, recent
ly married. They are a physically per

Friends of Leo De Lano, 23, and
Mrs. De Lano, formerly Miss Betty
Wehrle, 19,, are carefully following
their marital voyage s6 confidently

cently. De Lano set his name high in ath
letic circles as champion swimmer
and racing mate of Speed King De
Palma. Tennis and open-air sports
had an ardent devotee in Miss
Their marriage is the result of a
New Year's resolution in which each
vowed that the conjugal mate must
be physically and mentally perfect.
Their troth quickly followed.
"I am proud to have an athletic
star for a husband," says she, "and
intend to show my appreciation by
keeping in the best of health."
"This is going to be a perfect ex
ample of the benefit of eugenic mar
riage,' 'adds DeLauo.
