W. G. Collins, Henrici Manager, Admits That Restaurant
Owners"Acted Jointly in War Against Waitresses
Also Tells of Aid Given Henrici s by Oscar
F'. Mayer, Harrison's "Friend."
Several-startling admissions, as to
the manner in which the Restaurant
Keepers' Association and Henrici's
have been handling the strike of the
girl;waitresses were made, by W. G.
Collins, manager of Henrici's, today.

He admitted that the Restaurant
Keepers' Association 'hdd entered-Into

mands of the union. Attorneys John
D. Farrell. and Edgar Lee Masters
have been trying to bring this out to
sustain their conspiracy charge
against the restaurant owners.
He also showed that the restaurant
keepers by the pull which Oscar F.
Mayer, the. millionaire butcher, has
with Mayor Harrison and the City
Hall 'crowd, were 'able "to get favora
from the city administration.
Mayer is one of Carter Harrison's
.principal financial backers. He sells
'meat to the restaurants'belonging to.
