What may be safely called an unparalleled human parallelism is revealed here in the remarkable chain of coincidental circumstances making.up the life his tories of the Rev. NathanB.. .Yerger and the Rev. Elbert E. "Landis and their wives, all of this city. To them everything has come, in pairs, even babies! The stork that serves this community left a boy and a girl at each, home during the past week and this brought to light the extraordinary double experiences of the delighted parents. Nathan B. Yerger and Elbert E. Landis were chums when they were beys. Mrs. Yerger and Mrs. Landis were girl chums. The .boys entered Muhlenberg college of' the Lutheran church at the same time and were roommates, for. four years. Mrs. Yer ger and Mrs. Landis entered prepara tory school oh the same day and were inseparable friends. Subsequently the girls entered the same class in the Kutztowri " normal school - and' both passed out of the same institution in the same class. Both took up the pro fession of teaching, taking the work on the same day. The boys graduated on the same day Each entered the Lutheran min istry,' preaching their first sermons on the same Sunday. The young ministers -met the young teachers at the same time, be came engaged the same day and were married by the same clergyman at a double Qeremony. The four went away, on a wedding. tourtogether.
