Makes Charge Against Morals Squad.

Commissioner Funkhouser, is going
to resign, quit bis "job and get out of
the, city, service!
He was asked by a Day Book re
porter today: "What is. there to the
rumor that you, are fgoing' to quit as
soon as" pie 'Harry Cullet .case is
finished?" - He replied: "It is-true that Lam
going to resign some tinfe in. the near,
future. But my quitting has no con-,
nectlon with-the Guile t ease - one way
'or the other. I have intended for
some time to resign. In fact, when I
first entered the city service I did
not intend to stay permanently."
