S. Chiveral of Baltimore.,has. -developed
a versatility in -the matrimonial
line, that has at last- landed her be
hind the inhospitable bars; of the
state penitentkry, 'and her lull cog
nomen of Anna S. JVIaddox-Hopkins-Chiveral-iPilachowski,
if that hap
pens to be,all of it-, will not be used
for some' time. She will have" a letter
of the -alphabet and a few numerals.
Anna, created some excitement be,
fore she became Mrs. WilliamE.
Maddox, the first, one she led into the
matrimonial falter. She eloped with
a. man-by-the name of Kammer, with
the result that Kammer's real wife
became so upset that she committed
suicide. Anna 'and "Rammer did not!
get on well and. separated. J,
Then Maddox's heart was pierced
and she, 'took him for better or for
worse for a while. She had an at-i
tack of matrimonial ennui and slip
ped the noose.
Alfred T. Hopkins fell a, victim to
Anna's charms and loving ways.
They were married without" even the
little formality of her having secured
a divorce even of the Reno brand
from -Maddox. But Maddox got a di
vorce eight months later. When this
