"AUTO MYSTERY" GIRL SUICIDES
Mayme Connors, the girl who was
found unconscious in a South Side
street a month ago and told a story
of being thrown from au auto, ended
her life yesterday by firing a bullet
into her brain in the home of Mrs.
P. T. Kiley, 1413 Austin avenue.
No reason for the young girl's ac
tion is given. She left no note. Mrs.
Kiley said the girl came home about
G o'clock yesterday. A s"hort time later
she killed herself.
At the time of auto episode a,
month ago the girl accused Wm.
Cody, a chauffeur. He satisfied the
police he was innocent. The girl dis
appeared at that time.
She was a sls'ter of "Ice Wagon"
Connors and "Eddie" Connors, police
