When a fella goes limpin' around,
And he- puts his feet light on the
His trouble is, folks, I'll be bound,
That he'-s got a new pair of shoes.
When a fella stands straight and
I gladly will sympathy lend,
'Tis a fact on which you can depend,
His trousers are too tight.
When a fella will show neither paw,
Keeps them both in his pockets, haw
You could tell, if this action you saw,
That he hasn't got any gloves.
When a fella's all smiles on his face,
And his mouth sort of looks out of
To this fact it will generally trace,
He's got a new gold tooth.
When a fella's himself and no game
Is he playin', but's always the same
And acts natural, this is to blame:
He's got good sense.
Boil fresh beef tongue m water
with teaspoon of salt, one-half cup
vinegar until tender. Skin and allow
to cool. Slice very thin. Heat two
tablespoons of butter into skillet and
add one teaspoon of chopped onion
and one-half clove of garlic minced
very fine. Stir into this butter and
onion one tablespoon of flour. Brown
very lightly. Add one cup of tomato,
one cu ofwater, 'one-half' dup of
mushrooms, juic'e'of half'a lemon,
salt and pepper to' taste. Boil all to
gether. Add shced .tongue. Simmer
ten minutes and" serve with baked
