what Ford, the automobile million
aire, is going to tackle next
He is going to fight cancer.
This is the newest thing in the
medical world. I am telling you the
news iere for the first time.
Ford will spend millions and mil
lions to carry out his own theory on
the prevention of the terrible'disease.
Three weeks ago Ford took over a
large, unfinished hospitaTin, Detroit,
the promoters having failed to carry
out their plan. It was supposed that
he intended to finish the construction
and equipment and make the institu
tion simply a general hospital.
No word of his new plan and ideas
had been made public until the con
ference between him and Judge NeiL
the mothers' pension man, at which I
was present.
