SHOTS AT DOCTOR DEEPEN THE
MYSTERY IN FREEPORT
New York, July 6. With the in
vestigation of the shooting of Mrs.
Louise Bailey in the home of Dr. Ed
win Carman, Freeport, L. I., hourly

are further mystified by a story told
by Carman of an attack made upon
him last night.
