girl in the world," has returned from
Europe that is to say, Miss Marie
Tailer, pronounced by the Grand
Duke Michaelovitch of Russia the
most beautiful girl in the world, has
come back to America to help enliven
the summer season at Newport.
Miss Tailer is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. J. Lee Tailer; her beauty
has attracted attention in Europe as
well as America and the czar's cousin
isn't the only one who has-cailed her
"the most beautiful girl in the wprkL"
STEWED TOMATOES ' -
Put 12 ripe tomatoes to boiling
water. (Use a long-handled wire
scoop and put them into tea kettle
of boiling water. Allow to remain un
til you count ten.) Turn cold water
on and the peel will slip off easily.
When peeled cut them into slices, re
ject the stem-end slice.
Put tomatoes in granite pan with
y2 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of
white sugar. Stew 20 minutes. Add a
tablespoon of butter, and a dash of
cayenne, just before serving.
