for the rise in prices. Listen!
"When all Europe -went mad a
little over two weeks ago every news
paper in America predicted a rise in
the prices of almost every article of
Sgnrmercet" says Art, "This actually
prompted an advance, because con
sumers and retail dealers, anticipat
ing such a rise, began heavy buying."
Art said also that meat has been
less affected than other foodstuffs
and that the only reason it's high is
because of cattle shortage. He also
says Armour & Co. favor cold storage
