KILLED FATHER OF UNBORN BABE v
Mrs. Olive Hagan.
San Francisco, Cal. When Mrs.
Olive Hagan's mother came to live
with her in a cell here, prison rules
were broken, all precedents shatter
ed, and a jail became a home!
Mrs. Olive Hagan is charged with
murder. She slew Clayton H. Put-
man, the man she loved ! In her hour
of trial he had proved faithless; left
her after a liason of a year to shift
for herself and care as best she could
for the child that was to come. For.
this she shot and killed him. Now
she must stand trial for murder.
