SEVERE SKIRMISHES BETWEEN GERMAN AND FRENCH FORCES CHOLERA CAUSING ALARM London, Sept. 28. News Agency dispatches from Angra Pequena (Luderitz Bay). German Southwest Africa, report severe skirmishing between German and British forces near there with seven killed on each side. Paris. Rumors are current of differences between Gen. French, English commander, and French generals over plan of campaign. Budapest, via Rome, Sept. 28. Considerable ap prehension is felt over the outbreak of cholera here. De spite the stern repressive efforts of the authorities it is ad mitted that fifteen new cases of the disease were reported today. Ostend.-r Reported that Mons, where Gen. Von Boehm has had his headquarters, is burning. Not con firmed u London. Numerous reports received from Belgian sources that epidemic of typhoid and allied diseases has broken out in ranks of German army and their horses are suffering from glanders, credited here. Reported 700 men have died of typhoid in valley of Dendre river, near Termonde. Antwerp. Germans are shelling outer fortifica tions of Antwerp with heavy guns. Already reported to have caused damage to Forts Vaelhem and Wavre and to chain of fortifications which connect them. Guns be ing used are those with which the Germans yesterday bombarded M alines, killing many worshippers as they left church and setting fire to many buildings, including hospital of the Little Sisters of the Poor.
