Like the Edwards-Cox case, the principals in the latest affair are wealthy. A short time ago Dr. Louis P. Wineberg of Ligonier, Ind., was in dicted on a charge of having violated the Mann white slave law upon the testimony of 18-year-old Grace Belle Locher, daughter of a Ligonier car riage factory owne - Both were socially prominent in their home town. Dr. Wineberg is married. He was also a great friend of Grace Locher's father. So when the girl become ill from a nervous breakdown upon her return from college it was perfectly natural that the girl should be placed under the care of Dr. Locher. . Then comes the darker side of the girl's story. She thought of Dr. Wineberg at first only as a kind and thoughtful friend.
