WHAT WOULD CHRISTMAS BE
Of course, everybody knows how
to make fudge, but anyway, here's
the recipe. You may haye forgotten,
just how it goes, and Christmas aft
ernoon will be dull, indeed, if some
of the youngsters don't make fudge.
One cup of sugar, 1 cup of gran
ulated chocolate, half a clip' of
milk and a quarter of a cupful of
molasses are the necessary ingredi
ents. These should be boiled to
gether until a little hardens in cold
water when dropped into it. Take
it off the fire and beat into it a tea
spoonful of vanilla. Stir it a minute
or so and then turn into a buttered
pan to cool.
Six" marshmallows, added when
fudge- is taken from fire and beaten
in, makes the fudge finer grained.
