f found 'Helen Badgley sitting in
a large arm chair at the Thanhouser
studio, -with her feet sticking out
straight in front of her and she re
minded me of a little wax.doll. Her
wraps were off, her short-sleeved
dress showing her dimpled elbows
and her hair in tiny ringlets. She ha&
roguish black eyes and a very dimin
utive nose.
Helen is the pet of the Than
houser company and is known as the
"Thanhouser kid" everywhere. "She
is only four years old now and has
been in moving pictures two years.
Her first picture was "Brother Bob's
Baby," and since then has appeared
in many other pictures, including
"Turkey Trot Town" and "The Tin
Soldier and the DolL"
Not so long ago this clever little
mifcs appeared at a vaudeville house
in New York and the feature of her
act was her impersonation of Eva
.Tanguay. She will play an important
part in the ninth episode of "Zudora"
and is the first child actress in mo
tion pictures to be given a stellar part
In a great serial production.
