TWO TAFFY RECIPES, SIMPLE,
BUT GOOD
Kansas Taffy Boil two cups of
light brown sugar, 1 cup of honey,
one-half cup of butter and one-half
cup of water together. Do not stir
with a spoon, but shake the sauce
pan.
When it will keep its form when a
drop is dropped in cold water it is
ready to cool.
Place one well-greased platter, al
low to cool enough to handle, then
pull until white. Cut in small pieces
with scissors.
Molasses Taffy One pint of mo
lasses, 1 pound of sugar, one-quarter
pound of butter. Boil together until
it hardens when a little is dropped
into cold water. Turn out on well
buttered pans.
