When the new United States battleship slips from the ways at New
port News, "Va., March 16, its name, "Pennsylvania," will be formally be
stowed upon it by Miss Elizabeth Kblb, who is called tha "sweetest girl in
Pennsylvania." Miss Kolb is a student in a girls' school in Washington.
The "Pennsylvania" will be the biggest battleship in the American
navy. Its tonnage is 31,000, its length 600 feet and it has a beam of 97
feet. The sea monster cost $14,000,000.
