has started a movement that will
probably give the drug fiends relief.
A meeting will be held this afternoon
at 4 o'clock in the office of Peter
Reinberg, county board president
Here tie various plans proposed to
aid the dope users, will be discussed
and definite action will result Phy
sicians, attorneys, judges, federal
officials and dope experts will take
part in the conference to'day.
Dr. H. L Davis of the psychopathic
hospital, has announced his plans for
coping with the drug peril. Thirty
more beds have been provided for the
drug fiends; he says they will all be
used. The hospital holds 26 patients
now.
Stories of robbery, shoplifting and
immorality resulting from a lack of
cocaine, morphine and their derivi
tives are flooding in on state, city
and federal authorities.
