BOHEMIAN WAY TO MAKE

Bohemian Style. Put into a deep
bowl 1 tablespoonful of sugar, tea
spoonful of salt, IV. cupfuls of flour
and the grated rind of half a lemon;
dissolve y cake of compressed yeast
in cup of tepid water. Beat 2 eggs
very light, add 1 cup of milk and
turn into the flour mixture; mix thor
oughly; beat in the yeast; set away
in warm place to raise for 3 hours.
Drop a spoon of the batter onto
griddle, spread out, bake slowly and
turn. Bake golden brown and serve
on hot plate. Spread the top with
layer of jam and put layer of whipped
cream on top of the jam.
