A PRETTY GOOD OLD WORLD!
Everybody Loves a Pretty Girl!
It's a pretty good old world, after
Isn't spring here and doesn't
spring promise green grass and shady
trees and pretty flowers and sweet
smelling fields and delightful morn
ings and pleasant evenings?
Don't you know many fine men
who look you straight in the eye and
tell you the truth9
Aren't there thousands upon thou
sands of happy, laughing children
who believe in God and trust In man
and love dogs and worship their dad
dies and mommies?
And doesn't spring always bring
back the birds and the butterflies and
Suiely you won't confess that you
ale so old 01 so crusty that you
aren't interested in pretty girls!
Why, the man who will say he
doesn't like to see a pretty, happy,
smiling girl, dressed in her spring or
summer clothes, and who just natur
ally makes love to everything in
sight young men, old men, the sky,
the earth, the water, the flowers, the
green grass, the trees, horses and
dogs and Everything Else such a
man is ready to die.
Sure it's a pretty good old world.
There is a black stain upon it just at
present, but that stain will serve its
purpose, and be washed away and
then the grass will be greener still,
and (he flowers even more delightful,
and men more thoughtfully honest,
and girls still prettier, for as the
world recovers it will be very earnest,
very tender BETTtfK.
