Seattle, Wash., April 6. Last
night I was kissed by a lady not my
wife.
It was no mean, clandestine busi
ness. A lot of people saw it It hap
pened at a theater in the middle of
the performance of "The Whirl of
the World."
The lady was Miss Texas -Cfuinan,
who is Fifi.
This "seeing America first" does
.have its advantages.
They do not know me at the hotel
today. I am a changed man.
I overheard Daisy, the telephone
operator, telling some other young
lady thatshe suspects.I.am fast..
I was rather pleased than other-
wise.
What subtle alchemy is there in a,
kiss? I strut I pose. I ogle. I
challenge the ladies with bold
glances.
