DEAD ON LUSITANIA
Charles Frohman, Alfred G. Vanderbilt, Charles Klein,
Elbert Hubbard Thought Dead in Ocean Disaster
Qwjenstown Town Hall Now Morgue.
London. Latest reports fix the
number of Lusitania dead at 1,502.
New York. E. Blish Thompson
and wife of Chicago perished, accord
ing to cablegram received by T. S.
Blish, Seymour, Ind., from his wife
and daughter, Maud, who sailed with
the Thompsons and -were saved.
New York. Hope for survival of
A. G. Vanderbilt, Chas. Frohman,
Chas. Klein and Elbert Hubbard has
bene practically abandoned by their
London. Admiralty at 9 o'clock
anounced that of 2,150 on board, but
658 are known to have ben saved.
Cap't Turner is the only officer
known to have been saved. He was
taken from the water 3 hours -after
the boat Bank. Many survivors will

and all might have been saved.

Cunard office announces that very
few first cabin passengers apepar to
have been saved. So far oniy 7 first
cabin names appear in list of sur
vivors. Queenstown. Bertram Jenkins,
survivor, told how one boatload of
women and children sank. He helped
women get into boat.
