M'CANN REINSTATED
Former Police Inspector Edw. Mc
Can, fired three years ago for his
connection with graft work in West
Side dives, has been reinstated by
Judge John McGoorty on condition
that he resign from the -force in 3
months and 8 days. McCann needs
to serve that much longer on the
force t oround out a 20-year period
of service, wihch will entitle him to a
pension. He has already handed in
his resignation to become effective
3 months and 8 days from today.
