He showed its successfully one
kind of truth and so far it has prov
ed itself permanent.
It is puzzle to know if it is best to
be suasive or not. Most times it is.
Glory be to the peaceman. Frank

NEUTRALITY QUESTION. One
point that other writers overlook is
the plain discrimination of this gov
ernment on the neutrality question:
"I shall follow the best practice of
nations in the matter of neutrality by
forbidding the exportation of arms
or munitions of war of any kind from
the United States to any part of the
republic of Mexico." President Wil
son in message to congress, Aug. 27,
1913.
On Feb. 3 he removed the embargo
and on June 4 replaced it In fact,
he put on the embargo and removed
. it at will and his claim that it would
be an unneutral act to stop the ex
port of arms to Europe is not borne
out by his own acts. William 3.

SUGGESTIONS. If Bella and
Gerta will carry out the following
suggestions they will find a solution
to their problems:
If it be your desire to keep com
pany with a young man who will take
you to a good show or to places of
recreation and amusement it is only
necessary to become acquainted
with the desired young man.
Since you possess the qualification
most admired by all sincere and
good-intentioned young men, namely
modesty, this should be an easy task.
Suggestion No. 1 Suppose you
join a club that has as its main ob
ject the social welfare of its mem
bers, become actively interested in
the work and thereby enlarge your
acquaintance with both men and
womjnj
There are so many clubs that you
should experience no difficulty in
making a selection. If you love,
music, vocal or instrumental; art, lit
erature, drama, physical culture, ten
nis or basketball; in fact, if you will
decide just what best suits your de
sire you will find no difficulty in find
ing an 'organization with busy work
ers, each trying to perfect themselves
to a fuller realization of their ideal.
Some of these clubs pursue one
definite line of work or pleasure,
while it is not impossible to find a
club with many departments em
bracing almost everything one would
desire in the way of recreation or
study.
After careful meditation you will
find that there is something you
would rather do than anything else
Whatever that is, you will find hun
dreds with the same desire, many of
which have organizations or clubs
with definite working plans, so as to
accomplish their purpose in tho
shortest possible time.
Suggestion No. 2 You should af
filiate yourself with the organization
that affords you the best opportunity
of success. Associate with persons
nearer your own line of thought, so
as to effect perfect harmony.
It is here you will meet young men.
with serious purpose and ambition,
the most desirable for the company
of young women.
In the best of these organizations
and clubs ample opportunity is af
forded those desiring real, wholesome
pleasure, as there is always a com
mittee getting up a dance, a picnic,
an excursion, etc.
It is here you will have your de
sire gratified, both as to the show and
the nice young man.
So much for a practical plan to get
acquainted and at the same time cul
tivate your talent. To make your
success positive I am going to call
your attention to another require
ment Has it ever been your pleasure to
visit a large conservatory, such as is.
