Anna Pavlowa, the world-noted bal
lerina, "has appeared in one of the
most unique theater in the world.
The Hermitage is the smallest and
at the same time" the "largest play
house in the world. It is part of the
imperial palace of the czar of Russia,
in Petrograd. This unique playhouse
seats 100 persons but has a stage as
large and as well equipped as that of
