Public attention is invited to an interview given the
newspapers yesterday by E. M. Craig, secretary of the
Building Construction Employers' association, concern-,
ing a threatened tie-up of building operations inr
W In the Daily News, Craig is reported as saying: "If
there is no construction work going on then carpenters
as well as the men of other trades will automatically be
thrown out of employment. There is no bluffing qpout
the action to be taken by the men who do the building.
A tie-up will surely come, and it will last while there is a
strike in existence in Chicago
