HOYNE TAKES A SLAM AT THE
BOARD OF ASSESSORS
A forecast of what might happen
if every corporations and wealthy cit
izen should come forward and file a
sworn schedule was carried by a
statement from State's Att'y Hoyne's
oce. Persons who were assessed by
the boar dof assessors last year filed
schedules this year. The difference
is enormous. j.
The case of the Zouri Drawn Metal
Co., which was assessed at $4,500 last
year according to Hoyne's figures,
came forward and filed a schedule of
$157,745. Hoyne showed that it is
often cheaper to be assessed by the

When he filed his schedule this year
